This retreat will take place on the beautiful island of Mykonos, in one of our stunning hilltop luxury villas. The training will be provided by Liz and Emilie, both highly accomplished yoga, therapy and wellness and teachers. There will be daily yoga training, self development and manifestation workshops and breakfast and lunch will be prepared daily by our chef.

Liz will be teaching: Yin, Vinyasa, Inversion Workshop, Manifest your Creativity Workshop (creating a vision board).

Emilie will be teaching: Therapeutic Yoga, Foundations, Self-Care myo-fascial release workshop.

Itinerary

Thursday May 21: Day of arrival

4:00 PM - Deep stretch yoga class with Liz before the BBQ for guests who can arrive early (75 min)

8.00PM - Meet & Greet, guest introductions, ice-breaker BBQ dinner for all guests

 

Friday May 22: 

7.30 AM - Yoga with Liz  (75 min) - The morning practice will be a more energizing and uplifting Vinyasa flow to wake up the body and get you going for your day ahead.

9:00 AM - Breakfast 

10:30 AM- Chill Time: Swim in the pool, read or relax

2:00 PM – Lunch

15:30 PM – Activity Time: beach, hike or walk around the town

(1 private 90 min Rolfing session available with Liz)

5:00 PM - Evening therapeutics yoga class with Emilie 

7:00 PM - Dinner together in Mykonos town (optional)

Saturday May 23

7:30 AM - Yoga with Emilie

9:00 AM - Breakfast

The Villa

 

The retreat is located in one of our luxury villas in Mykonos.

We sometimes also mix and match villas if the retreat is not in high season, picking form our vast portfolio depending on which side of the island is windier at the time of the retreat so our guests can have the best experience of Mykonos. No other retreats companies can do this. See the pictures below for villas in our portfolio.

All the villas in our Mykonos portfolio are oases of beauty. We typically use villas from our portfolio of hillside villas overlooking the sea and harnessing the best of the fresh sea breeze. For bigger retreats with higher attendance we combine villas in direct proximity (sometimes across the road from each other or 30 seconds walk) for a more exciting community feel. Guests can use the pool and outside areas of any of the villas in their retreat!

Whichever villa we choose for your retreat, you are guaranteed:

  • To be notified about which exact villa no later than 6 weeks before the retreat

  • A high end luxurious villa with a beautiful pool

  • Luxurious rooms cleaned daily with towels and toiletries provided

All our Mykonos villas are spacious with large living and cooking areas and ample outdoor space for soaking in the sun and watching the sunrise and/or sunset. Rooms can be booked as single occupancy packages or sharing packages, with up to two guests sharing a double or king-size room.

 

About Liz Terry

It took an open heart and a willingness to jump in feet first to surrender to her inner guidance. Liz is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the highest level (eRYT500) Vinyasa, Yin and Yogaworks Teacher and Trainer who caught a bit of wanderlust and has been traveling teaching yoga since 2008.

Having studied with YogaWorks in California and with the world-renowned Michel Besnard in Thailand, Liz has so much knowledge to share. In her Yin Yoga teachings, she integrates the ancient wisdom of Acupuncture Meridians and Chi flow in meditative Yoga practice.

 

Liz continues to enhance her teaching by practicing all types of movement from yoga to Crossfit, running and gymnastics practices such as hand inversions.

Her classes challenge the idea of what asana is, allowing her students to explore and empower themselves by learning what their bodies and minds can do. Having achieved many life milestones, Liz inspires her students and helps them stay motivated in their personal and professional endeavors with unique and succinct vision boards creations.

 

About Emilie Mikulla

Having contracted a major case of wanderlust, Emilie traveled the world, working as journalist and teaching movement in Thailand, South Africa, San Francisco, and now Dubai. She is the owner of The Mindful Body, a health and wellness company, a Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), Integrated Yoga Tune Up®️ instructor and Roll Model Method®️ trainer, and a Pilates teacher.

Through her deeply meditative Therapeutic Yoga classes, Emilie helped thousands of people across the globe to recover from injuries and illness. Her classes combine breath-work, hands-on healing and gentle yoga to bring the body into balance and reduce stress. Emilie’s powerful yet therapeutic classes will help get out of your pain cycle, and empower you with the selfcare tools you need to become the guardian of your own body and keep practicing the activities you love for a lifetime.

The Food

Our Nava Haus Retreats chefs will provide the food from menus carefully created and balanced by nutritional experts including our head chef to include fresh local ingredients.

The menus on our retreats are designed to give maximum health benefits using freshly sourced local ingredients always.

Daily breakfast, daily lunch, the ice-breaker dinner on the first evening and one extra dinner are included in the package.

Tips

 

* We usually have lots of socialising and extra-curricular activities. These vary from retreat to retreat and are sometimes add-ons not included in the retreat price. However they will always be clearly listed in the itinerary. For retreats with optional activities, either add them as add-ons during your booking or contact our guest services team by emailing team@navahausretreats.com.

* Transportation to extra-curricular activities and outside dinner locations may not bet included unless stated otherwise, if not included, it will ALWAYS be stated in the description on the retreats page and it can always be arranged. Pls inform your hosts if extra transportation is needed at anytime during your retreat.

* Airport pickup and drop off service is not always included, and if not, it can be purchased as an add-on during the booking process. If you are not sure if it is included, please email our guest services team on team@navahausretreats.com.

* Our guest services team will contact you after you book your retreat to collect information about special requirements, training levels and training goals, allergies and to ask you about your flight or travel details so we can properly prepare for you and help plan your arrival. Please look out for our email. Also please make sure to inform us about changes to flights, delays etc. please email our guest services team on team@navahausretreats.com.

* On most of our retreats, our instructors and trainers offer extra one-on-one sessions. For any guests interested in booking extra one-on-one yoga, fitness or other sessions including private art sessions on our arts therapy retreats or massage sessions, please email the guest services team on team@navahausretreats.com to arrange in advance or speak to your host or a trainer/masseuse on-site.
