After our very successful Mykonos retreat in September, once again come and join House of VOGA founder Juju Murrell on a journey of self expression through VOGA, a fusion of yoga and voguing set to an iconic dance soundtrack. Boasting collaborations with Vogue, Louis Vuitton and Made In Chelsea, VOGA truly is the ‘haute couture of fitness’.

THE VILLAS:

Multiple outstanding cliffside villas with large private pools and stunning views of the sea on one side, and Capms Bay's unbelievable mountain views on the other side, all located within 5 minutes drive from the sea front shops and restaurants. Each villa has outside areas for lounging and watching the sea, reading on the lawn, suntanning.

TYPICAL DAILY ITINERARY

The itinerary is subject to slight changes depending on weather, availability and timing. The shcedule below is based on last year's Cape Town retreat.


Morning: 

Group breakfast or brunch followed by VOGA training and/or fitness training


Noon: 

Activities (cruise, mountain hike, beach time, dolphin adventure, penguin adventure, wine tasting, experience Braai, wine blending)

or

Noon: 

Group brunch by the pool in the sunshine


Afternoon: 

Down time and art therapy: painting on the lawn, beach time, explore Camps Bay

or

Afternoon: 

Beach time, group exploration of Camps Bay restaurants, bars and shopping


Early evening: 

Activities (Sunset boat cruise, dinne rin Camps Bay's best restaurants, drinks in town)

or

Early evening:

Yoga and/or fitness session

BBQ at the villa.

THE TRAINING - designed to build the right foundations

VOGA training will utilise Vogue gesture to help deepen your yoga poses. It explores the effect of body language, and celebrates bold stylized silhouettes to build strength with alignment; confidence with style.

Beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners are welcome.

ABOUT JUJU

An expert in her field, Juju has been practising yoga for 15 years having trained in Sivananda Yoga, India and most recently in Hot Yoga through Fierce Grace, London. She created VOGA to help others manifest their inner power and connect to the physicality of the body through breath, movement and music. Juju is passionate about making fitness a social and memorable experience!


"Having known first-hand how it feels to experience depleted energy levels with post-viral chronic fatigue in my teens, my main priority since has been to cultivate energy and help others prioritise happiness, health and wellbeing. I created VOGA after the illuminating moment that life can be everything you want it to be. Free your mind, combine your passions.”


Private paid one-on-one sessions offered 7PM to 8PM daily for those who wish to learn more in-depth techniques from Juliet. These can be booked onsite but it's cheaper if booked in advance during the booking process.

Actress and drag king Daisy May has been a proud Voguette for over 6 years now. She's never looked back after spotting Juju striking a pose in the Secret Garden Party fields! Since joining the House of VOGA, Daisy May has become one of the house’s leading VOGA instructors, representing and teaching VOGA worldwide.
